The level of service we have received has been excellent, from the initial introductions through to the advice, delivery of training and ongoing support to help us develop our own on site processes and documentation.
ILD has worked in partnership with Caterpillar by providing first class training with respect to providing excellent foundations for apprentices, skilled tradespeople and new employees raw to our industry and also to various unrelated industries. I am particularly impressed at the Junior Welder programme that is engaged by both parties, the methods of teaching, applying practical industrial methods in combination with practical industrial qualifications is definitely a good foundation for skill levels and a success for us.
ILD have endeavoured in maintaining an excellent level of training and education in which the legacy is proven by the number of trainees now successfully retained in employment by Caterpillar and others.
The training that the students received on the Simulated Work Environment was excellent and really important as manufacturing training and experience opportunities in Singapore are limited
ILD provided 2 tier training for employees from the manufacturing and quality departments for SNOP UK in 2014 at their Welding Academy. They provided theoretical and practical welding training for some of our welding staff and advanced training for our quality department in defects and testing techniques. In both cases the feedback from staff was very good and has helped them understand the potential problems associated with the welding process, and also developed their skills to allow them to detect welding defects and practice effective testing procedures.
I just wanted to take a chance to say thank you for the SWE yesterday.
It was really interesting to see the processes involved and the improvements that can be made in such a short space of time.
All of your team really made the day go smoothly and I think they got the responses from the teams that were needed to make the day a great success. I’ve had a lot of the people who attended yesterday say that they were really surprised at how much they enjoyed it and how much they learnt from it.
Initial feedback was ‘fantastic’ they all enjoyed the day and felt they got a lot out of it and also impressed by the whole set up, so many thanks to your team.
Over the past three years of working with Keith and his staff at ILD, Newcastle University has been able to build up a fantastic working relationship. The welding and SWE training provided is a perfect balance of theoretical background material and hands on practical work, delivered by experts in the field. The entire cohort of our first year mechanical engineering undergraduates benefits from this training, enabling them to gain some valuable practical experience while supporting the academic degree material they study. For each group which completes this training, the students come back to the University with a sense of appreciation of the industrial relevance of the skills they have been exposed to, along with a universal enjoyment of the time they spend at ILD.
Just a short note to say how well the SWE session today was facilitated by you and your team. The facilities and CPS are world-class. The preparation, planning and facilitation by you and your team was excellent.
ILD have been extremely proficient from the on-set of our training requirement.
They fully understood our skills gap and were engaged in matching course selection to meet the business need.
We have 2 employees completing Level 3 BIT (Business Improvement Techniques) and ILM Level 3 (Team Leading/Management). The training, support, help and guidance have been very professional. The tutor is exceptionally experienced, enthusiastic, very knowledgeable and has an excellent working relationship with the NOC Ltd employees. The training is well balanced between theory and shop-floor practical engagement, and we have made excellent impact on bottom-line processes and procedures. The NOC Ltd employees already have sufficient knowledge to see and identify waste and know what changes are required. Initial projects with BIT have changed cell set-up and tooling requirements and further identified a saving of upwards of £20,000 in material costs.
As the BIT course progresses and knowledge and engagement increases, future savings under the guidance of the tutor will certainly emerge. The ILM level 3 will also help with people engagement and team leadership.
From management, admin and course delivery via the tutor, I’ve been very impressed with the competence and expertise of all staff. Exceptionally professional throughout and I would have no hesitation in highly recommending ILD for training requirements.
The structure of the whole day was to a very high standard and our group was impressed by the staff of Infinite Learning and Development in the way the day was presented.
Would you please pass on to your senior management our grateful thanks for all the help and guidance that Infinite Learning and Development has provided to us at Siemens.
